In my game in particular I would appreciate that not being locked in since it doesn't give any mechanical benefit to have it locked. Especially not long-running streamed games which this is presumably designed for. Currently the extension assumes only the most strict core mechanics, items and such will be used and that's generally not the reality for most games.
